were accepted by the participants. |

Topic 5 2nd European Weathering Symposium 3th European Weathering Symposium Next EWS will
take place in Krakow, Poland, September 12-14, 2007. Co-organizer at the
Polytechnica in Krakow will be Prof. Kryzstof Pielichowski. (www.ew-symposium.de or www.weathering.org). Thomas has
made contacts to the MODEST Society. This association of experts in polymers
organizes workshops and conferences in Modification,
Degradation and Stabilization of Polymers. The large
events of MoDeSt and EWS should not take place in one year. So a 2 years
change is envisaged. |

Topic 6Eureka Proposal BESTPRODUCT TENEEST The proposal
was accepted by the EUREKA Official Meeting in Prague, October 20. Francois
Crepain has given a summary about the next steps necessary. To make a
consortium agreement and to revise the action plan. (See presentation
attached). |

Topic 7 Pierre Lémann
gave us the information about the available humidity guide. The French
version is available. The English version has to be revised in some parts. Pierre
is looking for volunteers. Please distribute this information. Thomas Reichert fragt auch Prof. Manier ASTE starts also a new activity for solar radiation testing. To write a
guide in this area. Thomas mentioned that this is also a topic for our
working group. |

Topic 8 Information
about the national activities of the national working groups: GUS: Introduction
of the numerical simulation working group in Germany (see also:
www.gus-ev.de). SVU: The
society is preparing the annual fall meeting; topics will be related to
soldering problems. SEES: Bo Carlsson has changed the Institute. He is now at the Karla
University |

Topic 9 Numerical
Simulation: The TAB will be interested in having a working group for
numerical simulation, if this group will grow up then they will be a
candidate for a new TAB (but the people have to come to CEEES, this should be
sure). |
