1. General Assembly (Brussels February 17, 2005)

 

The CEEES 43rd General Assembly will take place in Brussels the 17th of February 2005 in the conference rooms at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg, rue Béliard,60-62, Brussels.The Assembly starts at 15.45 hrs and is preceded in the morning by the CEEES Technical Advisory Boards which start at 10.00hrs. 

 

2. Conferences and Workshops.

 

         - Twenty years Experience of Tailoring in Environmental Testing

           Brussels, February 20,2005.

           During this CEEES internal seminar all representatives from different

  national societies are invited to exchange views and experiences from

  practical cases.

  The different contributions will be grouped in following fields:

-       Field test-Lab test

-       Feed back from: field test-design department

-       Specification and severity of specifications

-       Test tailoring in standards for environmental tests

-       Test equipment and suppliers of test equipment

-       Education and applied experience for use of test tailoring

-       Development of new products-design with regard to given spec or test tailoring also due to the production process.

This seminar starts at 08.30hrs.

-Umwelteinflüsse erfassen, simulieren, bewerten.

Pfinztal bei Karlsruhe from 02 to 04 March 2005.

This conference is organized by GUS (Gesellschaft für Umweltsimulation)

on the occasion of its 34th anniversary.

Four themes are treated:

-       Grundlagen zur Umweltsimulation

-       Funktionsverhalten und Zuverlässigkeit von Bauteilen und Komponenten

-       Bewitterung und thermische Einflüsse

-       Wege zur numerische Umweltsimulation.

-IEST 51st Annual technical Meeting and Exposition

Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, Illinois (near Chicago)               01-04 May 2005

This meeting will include tutorials, technical sessions and working group meetings, as well as practical solutions in the state-of-the-art displays in the Exhibition.

ESTECH 2005 will feature a new opportunity: Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) will explore avenues for potential working groups during an open forum. Attendees will exchange ideas and develop recommendations that will satisfy industry needs.

-Cleanrooms Technology and Operations

Registration for this IEST’s new online education class is now available on website at www.iest.org/education/education.htm.

The online, life presentation is Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 11.00 AM Central Time and taught by Jan Eudy of Cintas Cleanrooms Resources. It will focus on the essentials of the ISO 14644-5 Standard on cleanroom operations and how these can be applied to cleanroom management. Be sure to bring questions, as the session will feature a question and answer period.

Once registered, you will receive a hyperlink to the site where the presentation will take place. The registration fee includes course notes and copy of the ISO 14644-5 Standard.
