Swiss Society for Environmental Engineering SSEE - Switzerland

The SWISS SOCIETY for ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING (SSEE) was founded in 1988 as an independent trade organization and replaced the Swiss Section (founded 1984) of the GESELLSCHAFT FÜR UMWELTSIMULATION e.V. (GUS).

The SSEE is the professional organization for engineers, scientists, companies and institutions active in the field of environmental simulation. The SSEE connects research and technology by providing advice to professional organizations in the definition of test procedures under consideration of interactions of equipment under test (EUT) and its environment.

The SSEE organizes an annual technical meeting. SSEE is a link for environmental specialists working in Switzerland and abroad. The SSEE is a partner for users and OEM of test equipment, and for the application of measurement techniques of all kinds. Contacts with test laboratories are arranged by SSEE in order to achieve mutual agreements on requirements.

Today the SSEE counts about 40 company and 25 individual members.
