Swiss Society for Environmental Engineering SSEE - Switzerland

The SWISS SOCIETY for ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING (SSEE) was founded in 1988 as an independent trade organisation and replaced the Swiss Section (founded 1984) of the GESELLSCHAFT FÜR UMWELTSIMULATION e.V. (GUS).

The SSEE is the professional organisation for engineers, scientists, companies and institutions active in the field of environmental simulation. The SSEE connects research and technology by providing advice to professional organisations in the definition of test procedures under consideration of interactions of equipment under test (EUT) and its environment.

The SSEE organizes workshops and seminars on a regular basis. SSEE is a link for environmental specialists working in Switzerland and abroad. The SSEE is a partner for users and OEM of test equipment, and for the application of measurement techniques of all kinds. Contacts with test laboratories are arranged by SSEE in order to achieve mutual agreements on requirements.

In addition to workshops SSEE offers courses which can be held directly in companies if there are enough participants. Inquiry to: sekretariat@svu.ch

From 1988-1994 the SSEE grew to 90 members (companies and individual members). Today the SSEE counts 45 company and 21 individual members.
